Calling Out All Leave-Hoarders
We’re already in the tail end of Q4, but we all have that one friend or colleague that is still holding on to their leaves and off-in-lieus as if they’ll appreciate in value. That colleague is Chun. He still hasn’t taken his leaves yet.
And according to Expedia’s most recent travel survey, the Singaporeans they surveyed were still leaving 3 days of vacation on the table. This is how we visualised it, and called our followers out:
We’ll say it again: your mandatory leave days are an entitlement, not a privilege. So use them to their fullest potential, because YOU DESERVE A BREAK.
Thank God It’s Cry-Day
All of us have grown to recognise the value of a good cry. But based on personal experience and some good ol’ research, we were able to identify one tradition that’s as old as time—crying in the bathroom. After wiping away our tears with single-ply toilet paper (times are hard), we pulled ourselves together and compiled all our findings into a comic. You’ll find some select frames below:
From the responses and engagement on our Instagram post, it’s clear to see that most of our readers have had a tough year, and we wanted to start wrapping up 2023 with affirmation that despite all that’s happened, your feelings are valid, and you have done enough.
